RAT ACTUATOR ADJUSTMENT TOOL, GSE 147

The RAT actuator adjusting tool measures the distance between the actuator attachment point on the
stowed RAT and the actuator mounting bracket on the aircraft. This dimension is then used to set the
fixture for the actuator deployed length. With this set, the actuator rod end can be adjusted in/out to
achieve the proper length that will ensure the proper preload in the stowed position.
